PRIVACY POLICY

Your data stays in your browser.

Effective date: August 6, 2026

Fetchigo is a local-first Chrome extension that turns repeated content on web pages into structured data. This policy explains what information Fetchigo processes and how it is handled.

Information Fetchigo processes

When you use Fetchigo, the extension may process:

  • The title and URL of the active page.
  • Page content needed to detect repeated lists, including text, links, and image URLs.
  • Content from detail pages you choose to process, including detected field labels and values.
  • Your selected fields, extraction progress, results, and related error information.

Fetchigo processes this information only to provide its scanning, extraction, resume, copy, and export features.

Local storage and retention

Processing takes place in your browser. Fetchigo may store an active extraction and its progress in Chrome's local extension storage so that interrupted work can be resumed. It may also remember selected field names for a website when you explicitly choose that option.

Active extraction data remains in local extension storage until you discard the workflow, complete it, clear the extension's data, or uninstall the extension. Remembered field selections remain until you remove them in Fetchigo, clear the extension's data, or uninstall the extension.

When you copy or export results, the data is placed on your clipboard or saved as a local file only at your request.

Network requests

Fetchigo works on HTTP and HTTPS pages. To process detail pages, it may open those pages in a browser tab or request them directly from their source website. A direct request may use your existing session with that website when the browser permits it. Fetchigo does not read or store your passwords, cookies, or authentication tokens.

Source websites and image hosts may receive normal request information, such as your IP address and request headers, under their own privacy policies.

Fetchigo does not send extracted page content or results to Fetchigo-owned servers, analytics providers, advertising services, or AI services.

Sharing and selling data

Fetchigo does not sell personal information. It does not share extracted content or results with the developer or with third parties. Extracted results leave the extension only when you choose to copy, export, or otherwise share them.

Permissions

Fetchigo uses Chrome permissions only to provide its user-facing features:

  • Website access detects lists and extracts user-selected details from HTTP and HTTPS pages.
  • Scripting access connects Fetchigo to pages being scanned.
  • Side panel access provides the extension interface.
  • Local storage preserves extraction progress and optional remembered field selections.
  • Navigation access keeps results aligned with the active page in the same Chrome window.
  • Clipboard access is used only when you choose a copy action.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Fetchigo's features or data practices change. The effective date above will be revised when an update is published.
